🎸Jon (Jah-n) Landau rips the axe (guitar) on "The United States of Dub". Jon and Rastahari were both members of Dub Crucial back in the 90s. Jon is a very well-versed musician playing in a plethora of bands over the years. From his early days jamming in Potty Cow (his college band), to rocking with The Strangers, Dub Crucial, After School Special, and Groovetrak.
Currently Jon is one third of the trio known as Tripodacus- hailing from Wilmingoton, NC, Tripodicus is a heavy-hitting alternative rock power trio laced with classic, progressive, and punk flavors. They just dropped their debut EP 4 of 6 on all major streaming platforms, and their full-length album is already recorded and targeting for a big fall release.
Jon is also an accomplished Television and Film Writer, Director and Producer
🎸 Straight outta Richmond, VA, Ryan Lake blazes up the guitar on “Bulldoze Down Babylon”. Back in the day, Ryan and Rastahari mashed it up in Drummie Zeb and the Razor Posse, even backing the legendary Frankie Paul at Reggae Sunsplash in the ’90s.
These days, Ryan keeps the vibes strong with Drummie Zeb’s Rasta Country, while also rocking with Alabama Thunderpussy, Producer, and The Ray Pittman Band.
🥁 Sam Greene drops thunder on the drum kit for “The Black-Tie Dub”, fresh off his own release of Something Else . In addition to percussion, Sam also brings fyah on the trumpet, guitar and even some effects on the track.
Rastahari is a solo reggae dub artist with a distinguished career as a keyboardist. He has performed with Frankie Paul, Drummie Zeb & the Razor Posse, Unchained, Stable Roots, and Dub Crucial. He has also opened for reggae icons including The Wailers, Burning Spear, King Yellowman, Black Uhuru, and Eek-A-Mouse.
